Left Out and Staying Out They made work into a high school like clique. If Amanda and Amyssa didn't like you, then you weren't in on anything. And I was the only one they didn't like. I was the assistant manager, with a brand new manager that let everyone get away with everything. But only because she knew I would pick up everyone's slack. And I always picked up the slack. She was the good cop, forcing me to be the bad cop. I was working with teenagers for heaven's sake! They don't like to do anything! On top of this I was pregnant! Not fun. So of course I'm not always going to be happy with everyone. Well, that made it so I was out of the loop. Amanda and Amyssa would invite everyone but me to hang out with them. Go to Amyssa's house to play Guitar Hero, or go out on the town. Whatever it was, I wasn't invited. And it hurt. I'm too old for the high school drama. And that's why I'm glad to have left that job. Whenever Victory asks me if I want my job back, I say happily, "No thanks!" When I really mean, "NEVER would I come back here! This place was hell!"
