Paranoid
So my husband calls me to tell me to not answer the door today. Why? Because apparently last night a kid killed his mother and is still out on the loose. I'm glad he told me, but also not because I'm an extremely paranoid person and stuff like this scares the crap out of me. I do not ever watch scary movies (the people under the stairs doesn't count, lol) because when I do it seems that I can't sleep for a week! I hate to be scared. When I was younger and watched Scream for the first time, it took me a good couple of months before I stopped "seeing" that stupid masked guy in every dark corner or closet! When I watched the Blair Witch Project, I was up all night because there were some freaky noises coming out of the bathroom next to my room (and NO, no one was using the restroom!) It was really freaky. So now I'm scared to death that this kid is going to try to break into my house and kill me and my baby! Ugh, at least I have home protection, and by that I mean a shotgun that I know how to use quite well. (It's pretty fun to shoot! Knocks me back quite a bit, though, lol) My husband wants me to be able to defend myself, and I can. Which is good. But now I have the dillema that I'm expecting the UPS guy today. Oh well, I guess I can always sneakily check to see who's knocking! :) |
