Turn the T.V. OFF!
What makes me mad about parents today is that they let the television raise their children. What happened to the good old days when kids wanted to be outside? If it was nice out, there was no way you could keep me indoors unless I was sick! So why are kids nowadays so addicted to the television and their videogames? It's because of lazy parents! Because it's much easier to set your kid in front of a television than to actually raise them and play with them and teach them. They're letting the television raise their children. Which is obviously not the best thing. Television is getting worse and worse. Our society is teaching our kids that sex is casual, that drugs and alcohol are fun, that killing is normal, etc. What a horrible thing to do! No wonder America is becoming so white trash! We have no morals! We, as parents, owe it to our children and to society to turn off the television and spend some time with our children. Make things, sing, dance, play a game, bake something, go bike riding, or even just a walk. Have fun! Give them a chance to use their imaginations! And get some much needed excersize (that's an entirely seperate topic that I will discuss later) Don't our children deserve the best? So please, turn off the t.v.! |
